Today, the Texas Senate unanimously passed SB 25 and SJR 19 — meaningful legislation for Texas families across the state. Before Covid, it would be unimaginable that you could be prevented from visiting family members in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, unfortunately, that was a reality for too many vulnerable Texans. Today’s legislation, of which I am a proud co-sponsor, guarantees that you will be able to advocate for, visit, and care for loved ones in long-term care facilities.
