A few years from now, when I look back, October 30, 2020, will be one of the most special days in my life. Today, I took my daughter to vote for the very first time.

Presleigh is driven, kind, smart, and caring. Taking her to vote with me was incredibly special for a few reasons. I will never forget the first time I was able to cast a ballot – voting is empowering for all of us. But taking my daughter, this year, in 2020 was like nothing else.

Every year, we say that it is the most consequential election of our lives, but I believe she will look back at this year, and be thrilled that her first vote was a vote that determined whether the American dream would even be an option for her, whether we were a country that staked its place as a beacon of freedom or if we apologized and retreated.

I am so proud of Presleigh and my son, Cannon, and it is their future that I am fighting for. Texas is our nation’s last best hope, and your support is critical for me to continue to lead and deliver conservative victories for Texas.
