There is a humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border, and Senator Creighton has taken the lead on ensuring that the state keeps our commitment to strong border security.  Creighton has advocated to dedicate $800 million annually to border security, and was also the sponsor of SCR 5, a resolution urging Washington, D.C. to reimburse the State of Texas for bearing the cost of the federal government’s inaction to secure the Texas-Mexico border.
