These storms are headed right toward southeast Texas and predicted to make landfall Tuesday and Wednesday. Now is the time to make all necessary preparations.

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on two tropical storms – Marco and Laura – in the Atlantic Basin. There is still lots of uncertainty with both of these systems beyond 60 hrs.

Both of these storms could have direct impacts on our state. Stay weather aware, Texas. At the direction of Governor Abbott, the Texas Division of Emergency Management is preparing resources to respond to impacts from Tropical Storm Marco and possible impacts from Tropical Storm Laura. Now is the time for Texans to prepare.
