Creighton Secures Texas Patriots PAC Support

Senate District 4 TEA Party unity more evident

CONROE – Brandon Creighton has emerged as the clear choice of the TEA Party in the upcoming special election for Senate District 4, as he has received a recommendation from the Texas Patriots PAC as well as an endorsement from the Kingwood TEA Party and the TEA Party of East Montgomery County.

“As someone who has been proud to fight for TEA Party values since before the TEA Party was even formed, I am thankful to be supported by so many TEA Party groups across Senate District 4,” Creighton said. “Texas has represented the front lines of the TEA Party movement since the TEA Party’s creation, and as our district’s next State Senator I will continue to uphold the ideals of limited government, personal responsibility, low taxation and reduced spending that have made the TEA Party a dominant force in America today.”

In announcing their recommendation for Creighton in the SD4 race, the Texas Patriots PAC said, “Brandon Creighton is the most experienced legislator with the greatest legislative skills. Brandon was vital to passage of tort reform and blocking the expansion of Medicaid/Obamacare in Texas. He creatively used House rules to keep conservative legislation from being killed by Democrats and moderate Republicans. He transformed Republican Caucus Chair (in the last session) from a titular position into one that effectively countered bad legislation by coordinating with conservative legislators.”

Robin Lennon, President of the Kingwood TEA Party, said of Creighton, “The Kingwood TEA Party is proud to endorse Brandon Creighton’s campaign for the Texas State Senate and is pleased to have a conservative of this caliber in the Senate District 4 race. We are in dire need of public servants like Brandon in the Kingwood and North Houston area who cherish the Constitution and our founding principles of freedom, fiscal responsibility, limited government, and a free market. Brandon Creighton is a conservative fighter who will help us in the fight to turn our Texas Senate really red, keeping Texas strong in these uncertain times.”

Creighton has also been endorsed by the TEA Party of East Montgomery County.

Creighton, consistently ranked as one of the most conservative Texas House members, began representing District 16 in 2007. He received national acclaim for defending Texas’ sovereignty and for passing landmark tort reform legislation. He has been a constant champion for 2nd Amendment rights and for protecting the sanctity of human life. He has focused on keeping Texas the top job-creating state by voting for and supporting free-market principles that make this state the economic engine of nation. Elected by his peers as Republican Caucus Chairman in 2013, Creighton led the Caucus in preventing Medicaid expansion in Texas, and the conservative web site RedState recently described him as, “The Man Who Kept Obamacare Out of Texas.”
