During Brandon’s tenure in the Texas Legislature he has been a consistent fighter for the rights and life of the unborn. Brandon has co-authored or supported legislation that requires a sonogram before an abortion can be performed, prohibits an abortion at or after 20 weeks post-fertilization, and legislation that requires a physician performing or inducing an abortion to have admitting privileges at a hospital.
In addition, Brandon voted to defund Planned Parenthood and to allow proud, pro-life Texans to celebrate their pro-life beliefs by creating a “Choose Life” license plate.
